Rancang Bangun Aplikasi Lagu Daerah di Indonesia Berbasis Android

Folk song is one of the national treasure that have a typical characteristic, its present the language diversity, instrumentation and good value contained of each province. Technological development especially in information technologies causing people easy to access about foreign culture and the bad side of that we have forgotten our regional culture. Furthermore, lack of public interest especially on younger generation about local culture is because difficulty to access information about the local culture, especially the folk songs. This study aims to make a databank of folk songs in Indonesia based on android application program. Its designed to have features such as source, lyrics, and the meaning of regional songs in Indonesian and English. Result of this study is an android application that have a front view of the islands in Indonesia and every song have lyrics
