Pengelolaan Sampah Melalui Aplikasi E-Tikbroh.Yak Di Gampong Alue Naga, Kecamatan Syiah Kuala, Kota Banda Aceh

This study aims to describe the household waste management system through the e-tikbroh.yak application and to identify the various challenges that arise in its implementation in Gampong Alue Naga, Syiah Kuala Sub district, Banda Aceh City. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as observation, in depth interviews, and documentation study . The research informants include the e-tikbroh.yak community team, youth acting as waste collection couriers, and residents of Gampong Alue Naga. The findings indicate that e-tikbroh.yak is an effective digital innovation in assisting the community particularly housewives in systematically scheduling non-organic waste drop offs. The application offers a point redeem feature for partner products, waste sorting education, and partnerships with institutions such as the USK Waste Bank, Pegadaian, and other environmental communities. Although the application has improved public participation and awareness regarding waste management, several challenges persist, including limited access to digital devices, low digital literacy, and price disparities between the app and conventional waste buyers. This study recommends regular evaluation, application system optimization, and stronger stakeholder collaboration to achieve inclusive, sustainable, and community empowering waste management.
