Abstract
Low learning interest among students in the Islamic jurisprudence (Fikih) subject at MIN 25 Aceh Besar is influenced by conventional and monotonous teaching methods, making the lessons less engaging and reducing active participation. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Wordwall as an interactive learning medium in improving students’ learning interest in the topic of zakat fitrah among fifth-grade students. This research employed a qualitative approach using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) model by Kurt Lewin, carried out in two cycles with a total of 32 participants. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively using mean scores and percentage improvement in learning interest. The results showed significant changes, where students’ learning interest increased from 62% in cycle I (fair category) to 89% in cycle II (very good category). Teacher performance also improved from 79% to 97%. It can be concluded that the implementation of the Wordwall learning medium is effective in fostering a more interactive, enjoyable, and meaningful learning atmosphere, thus increasing students’ interest in learning Fikih.
