Pengembangan Model Flashcard berbasis Aplikasi Genially Untuk Mengembangkan Kemampuan Membaca Permulaan Anak di TK Seulanga Az-Zahra Banda Aceh

Early reading skills are one of the important skills that need to be developed in early childhood. This study aims to develop flashcard learning media based on the Genially application and determine its feasibility and effectiveness in improving early reading skills of children aged 5-6 years at Seulanga Az-Zahra Kindergarten, Banda Aceh. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of 15 children in group B aged 5-6 years at Seulanga Az-Zahra Kindergarten, Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The media developed was a digital flashcard based on the Genially application that contains letters, pictures, syllables, and simple words adapted to the characteristics of early childhood. The results of the media expert validation obtained a percentage of 93% with a very feasible category, while the results of the material expert validation obtained a percentage of 83% with a feasible category. The results of the trial on children obtained a percentage of 89.77% with a very feasible category. The results of the study showed that the Genially application-based flashcard media was declared very suitable and effective for use so that it could improve the early reading skills of children aged 5-6 years at Seulanga Az-Zahra Kindergarten, Banda Aceh.
