Pertumbuhan Perbankan Syariah Pasca Pemberlakuan Syariat Islam di Provinsi Aceh

Aceh Province is a region that implement sharia banking system and islamic law as well. This study aims to examine the relationship imposition of Islamic law on the growth of Islamic banking in the province of Aceh. The data used is quantitative data. Analysis of data using the method os OLS(Ordinary Least Square), econometric analysis using statistical software SHAZAME Version 10.1. The results show that Islamic banking in Aceh is generally influenced by local factors(such as the Islaming Banking Act). In addition, the application of Islamic law have a significant impact on the growth of Islamic banking, one of which is caused due to a lack of breakthrough from the Authority itself against Sharia Islamic Banking. However, statistics show that Islamic banking increased growth charts well for the application of Islamic law. The author argues that the study is not perfect due to lack of data, especially data before the implementation of Islamic banking, this causing some regression results are not satisfactory.
