Konsep Fungsi dalam Tradisi Ma'meugang di Aceh

One of Acehnese culture developed since Dutch pre-colonial era until now is ma'meugang tradition, in which there are obligation to take home some meat (puwoe sie) and there are also meubalah sie tradition. This article explain ma'meugang tradition in detail, in its position as a culture and its function in respond community basic need. This article use Malinowski's functional theory. Because of that, at the end was concluded that Malinowski's theory was relevant to explain the function of ma'meugang tradition in Aceh society.
