Abstract

This paper has real contribution of knowledge as not issued before. The new curriculum in Indonesia has created debate amongst teachers, including Islamic teacher. To enhance quality of education, the government of Indonesia have established new curriculum, publicly known as the 2013 Curriculum. This curriculum has designed clearly how to enhance pupils understanding. The curriculum has also covered several main purposes, including teacher to arrange learning plans, pedagogic competence, and learning evaluation. Those main points have expected to be owned by Islamic teacher, and can teach more better. In fact, those purposes have twisted a new problem, not expected by the new curriculum. To answer this discourse, researcher have conducted research in Province of Aceh, involving a number of school master as the first data resources. This research has used qualitative method that using educational approach. The main instrument used in this research have consisted of interview and observation.
