This research is qualitative research, specifically narrative research design that uses semi-structured interviews as the method to find the result, while all 6 participants are PBI students who have been exposed by VLE platform; in this case Canvas and Google Classroom. The results of the interview are transcribed, and analyzed using open coding analysis to find the objectives. The result showed that there are five positive sides by students’ perception namely; students’ self- confidence, academic discourse improvement, wider knowledge, monitor self- improvement, and build new habits. While the drawbacks are; mix understanding, obstacle running platform, and psychological factors. Lecturer ways to its improvement are implicit or explicit, but for the feedback, not all lecturers give feedback on students’ academic discourse. In addition, participants got both positive and negative impacts after using the VLE platform, and lecturers’ strategy is a part that supports the improvement.
