Abstract

The research was accomplished to explore the students’ perception on the use of e-learning in English presentation skill course. This research was completed by using a qualitative approach. The participants in this study were thirty EFL students of 2019 batch that have been learned English presentation skill course by e-learning in Department of English language education, UIN Ar-raniry. The participants were randomly selected to fulfill opened-ended questionnaire as instrument to answer a research question. The result of the questionnaire showed that students’ perceived the use of e-learning in English presentation skill course was difficult, less efficient and most of students got less improvement in mastering the skills in presentation. This study suggests that the were some parts in this course needed improvement; create good interaction between students and lecturer, create fun approaches in learning process, provide videos relate to the material and creative project. Thus, it can be concluded that more than half students perceived they did not find the e-learning easy to use in this course, while most of students found e-learning is less beneficial to apply in English presentation skill course.
