Intellectual activity in the history of Islamic civilization is one link in a journey of Islamic science development, which was started from the Prophet Muhammad, continued to the Khulafa 'al-Daula Umayyad caliphs time in Damascus and reached the height of glory during the Abbasid Daula in Baghdad, Daula Fatimids in Egypt and Daula Umayyad II Andalusia. The role of educational institutions, book translation of Greece, Persia, and India into Arabic and also support by the caliphs who love the science are some factors supporting the development of science in the classical period. The science transformation into the Western world was occurred through Spain, Sicily and the Crusades.
