Optimization Test of the Utilization of Schils and Inlislite Applications in Improving Library Performance in Madrasah Aliyah Library in Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar

The library is the most important part in order to succeed in the implementation of education in madrasas, especially in improving student literacy. This study is to test the optimization of the use of the Schils,SLiMS and Inlislite applications in improving library performance at the Aliyah School/Madrasah library in Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar. This research uses mixed methods, combining quantitative and qualitative research methods. Data collection lasted for one month with a total sample of 9 school’s librarians. SmartPLS 3.3.3 software was applied to test validity and reliability of data. The quantitative results of the study shows that the librarians’ perceived the Ease of Use (PEU), and the Usefulness (POU) of library applications (INLISLite, SLiMS, SchILS) is very good, and the librarians’ perception of POU and PEU influence positively to the Acceptance of Technology (AOT) at the library applications by the librarians.The qualitative results of the study also indicate that the the use of library applications in Madrasah Aliyah and High Schools in Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar was strongly supports the performance of librarians in managing libraries. The ability of school/madrasah’s librarians in optimizing these three applications is also very good, while those that are faced are only non-technical issues, especially related to the policies of the Principal /Madrasah.
