Abstract

Oral presentation skills are considered one of the most important proficiencies for higher education and future careers. This study investigated areas of oral presentation difficulties that always happened to the student. This research employs a combination of qualitative method and the researcher used purposive sampling technique to collect the data. The participant were English Student of Ar-Raniry batch 2017 that were 7 female and 7 male . The aims of this study are to investigated the difficulties that always happened to the student and also to know the reasons that have answered in interviewed. The researcher used qualitative research by using semi-structured interview to obtain the data. The results of the study revealed that students detected some challenges in oral presentation namely : Preparation, delivery and anxiety. Nevertheless, the researcher had several ways to resolve their challenges by practicing, habituating, and cooperating with peers that supported by experts.
