Abstract

This study entitled "The Effectiveness of Sharia Based Services on Customer Satisfaction in Public Service Sector (Case Study In Dr. Zainoel Abidin Hospital Banda Aceh)". The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of service with Islamic principles applied by hospitals dr. Zainoel Abidin Kota Banda Aceh, to know the influence of service with Islamic principles to patient satisfaction RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Kota Banda Aceh. Specific sharia-based services with four main characters are Rabbaniyyah, Akhlaqiyyah, Waqi'iyah and Insaniyyah, with a focus on sharia health services in terms of medical personnel (HR), the level of nutrition (food nutrition), environmental hygiene, home facilities ill even including the service charge. While patient satisfaction include four aspects, namely comfort aspect, patient relationship aspect with hospital staff, knowledge aspect (competency) of hospital staff and financing aspect. This research is descriptive quantitative. Where the data acquisition research through observation, interviews, and the results of the spread of questionnaires to respondents as much as 30 respondents. This research uses data analysis with validity and reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient test and determination, partial and simultaneous hypothesis test. From the results of this study shows that the implementation of syariah-based services in hospitals dr. Zainoel Abidin provide satisfaction to the patient in terms of service characteristics of Rabbaniyyah, Akhlaqiyyah. While the other two variables are Waqi’iyyah and Insaniyyah no significant effect on patient satisfaction. Therefore, Rabbaniyyah and Akhlaqiyyah service variables should be improved even more so that patient satisfaction can be achieved optimally.
