Abstract

The success of teaching and learning activities in physics learning can be measured by the success of students who take part in these learning activities. The success can be seen from the level of understanding, mastery of the material and student learning outcomes. But in the current conditions it can be seen that the physics learning outcomes achieved by students are still low. Most of the grades of students are still below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) and students are less active. The title of this study is the application of a cooperative model of the assisted individualization team (TAI) type to improve student learning outcomes on straight-motion material in class X of SMA Negeri 16 Banda Aceh. The purpose of this study was to find out the application of the Cooperative Type Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning model to the results of physics learning on straight-motion material class X of SMA 16 Banda Aceh. The method used in this study is a pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest research design and sample selected using a saturated sampling technique that is class X IPA1 consisting of 26 students. From the data obtained from the test questions and observation sheets which are then analyzed using the t-test, the results of the study show that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, this is because the value of t count> t table is 23.12> 1.71. Thus it can be concluded that learning using a cooperative model assisted individualization team type (TAI) can improve the ability of student learning outcomes in straight-motion material class X SMA Negeri 16 Banda Aceh.
