This study discusses the strengthening of the Islamic boarding school education office in Aceh in efforts to prevent sexual harassment in Islamic boarding schools from an Islamic criminal law perspective, using an empirical juridical approach through interviews. The increasing number of cases of sexual harassment in Islamic boarding schools in Aceh indicates weak regulations and legal mechanisms that protect students from sexual harassment. This study highlights how the Islamic boarding school education office as a strengthening institution for the prevention of sexual harassment in Islamic boarding schools in Aceh, with the result that the need for the formation of special regulations, strengthening coordination with law enforcement officials, and increasing legal capacity at the institutional level to guarantee legal protection for students. Strengthening the legal aspect is crucial so that the Islamic boarding school education office does not only function administratively, but also as a strategic actor in preventive and repressive efforts against sexual harassment.
