This study aims to examine the role and efforts of law enforcement officers in addressing gambling activities associated with illegal street racing in the jurisdiction of the Darul Imarah Police Sector. The research focuses on three main aspects: the underlying factors contributing to the rise of gambling in illegal racing, its impact on public security and order, and the extent to which police efforts have been effective in tackling the issue. A qualitative method with an empirical juridical approach was employed, involving in-depth interviews with police personnel and analysis of relevant legal documents. The findings reveal that the proliferation of gambling in street racing is driven by economic pressures, social influences, and access to digital technology. This activity poses significant risks to public safety and contributes to social unrest. The police have implemented both preventive and repressive measures as part of law enforcement strategies. However, they continue to face challenges, particularly due to limited resources and the dynamic nature of the offense. Therefore, collaboration between law enforcement, communities, and other stakeholders is essential to ensure a more comprehensive and sustainable solution.
