This thesis is entitled The Impact of Animated Videos on Students' Vocabulary Acquisition of ELF Student aiming at analyzing whether animation videos have a significant impact on students' vocabulary acquisition and finding out the extent animated videos improve the students' vocabulary acquisition of the eighth-grade students at MTsN 2 (State Islamic Junior High School ) Aceh Besar. The research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design, specifically the one-group pre-test-post-test design. The population of this research was the eighth-grade students at MTsN 2 and the sample was taken from students Class VIII consisted of 32 students in academic year 2025/2026. In the data were collecting the data, a vocabulary test was used in multiple choice item types, and the total of number questions was 100 with 4 alternative answers and the task of students is to choose the best alternative by croosing on etheir A, B, C or D. There were two types of the test given; namely, pre-test and post-test. The purpose of pre-test to measure the students' basic knowledge on vocabulary acquisitation before the treatment implemented while posttest is to measure the students' knowledge on vocabulary acquestation after the treatment. Before the test was applied, the question of the test is retested to know the validity of the test by using the correlation formula. The result shows that the correlation is 0.986. this mean that the instrument has high consistency. After analyzing the result of the test, it is concluded that the students’ vocabulary acquisition for (eighth-grade students) at MTsN 2 Aceh Besar was significantly improved, where X ̅ =53,97 in pre-test and X ̅ =78,34 in post-test. This indicates thats applying animated videos in teaching vocabulary has strongly impact on vocabulary acqusition. The findings, also revealed a significant improvement on the students’ vocabulary acquisition after the use of animated videos. The pre-test mean score was 53.97, classified as “Failing,” with 81.3% of students scoring below the passing grade. After the treatment, the post-test mean score increased to 78.34, classified as “Adequate,” with a gain of 24.37 points. Moreover, none of the students got in the failing category, while several students achieved “Good” and “Excellent” levels. These results indicate that animated videos are an effective teaching media that enhances students’ vocabulary acquisition through engaging audio-visual learning contexts.
