Abstract

This research is a research and development (R&D). which aims to produce a product in the form of student worksheets (LKPD) for learning Arabic based on the discovery learning model on the الساعة material. The research and development procedure used is the Borg and Gall model modified by Sugiyono, in this development research there are ten stages, however, the stages involved are: used in this study only up to six stages, namely potential and problems, gathering information, product design, design validation, product revision, product testing. The results showed that (1) the potential and problem in this study was that the worksheets used in learning Arabic were not developed using learning models. (2) Data collection is obtained from teachers, lecturers and students. (3) Product design using Microsoft Word. (4) Product validation is validated by three experts, namely, model experts, content experts and design experts. (5) Product revision. (6) product trials were carried out at MTsN 1 Banda Aceh to 2 teachers to see the teacher's response to the use of LKPD in learning and 15 students to see the responses of students in working on LKPD. Ratings from experts are very decent, ratings by model experts 86% , ratings by content experts 97% and ratings by design experts 100%. The LKPD product was tested at MTsN 1 banda aceh with limited trials for teachers and students, while the results of teacher respondents
with an average score of 4.4 in the practical category and student respondents' results with an average score of 3.54 with very good category. LKPD developed is suitable for learning Arabic
