An Analysis Of Moral Value In Educational Movie ‘The Pursuit Of Happyness’

Students spend a lot of time studying and playing video games, but moral education is becoming more and more crucial as it teaches students how to react and respond in a variety of tough circumstances. The researcher thinks that this study will be able to highlight to the reader how vital moral values are. The author chose to do qualitative data analysis to examine the moral value of the movie "The Pursuit of Happyness’. The primary source of information for this study was the dialogue from the movie and the researcher analyzes the data while using a descriptive analysis technique to look at the moral values contained in the movie. It can conclude that this film contains a wealth of inspirational moral lessons for the viewer, including those on confident, love and affection, wise, responsibility, honesty, humble, purity, discipline, loyalty, and unselfish.. Every character in this movie teaches us something moral and people must understand both the positive and the negative moral lessons that the characters have been taught. The researcher expected that the results would aid in formulating recommendations for additional research and that this research will serve as a reference for other researchers who wish to conduct additional research on the same film as well as a tool to assist students in identifying the movie's positive messages to encourage character development.
