researcher is an analytical and descriptive approach, to analyze the meaning of semiotics according to Ferdinand de Saussure. The researcher relies on research methods in libraries by looking at scientific, literary and linguistic books to collect the information and data that the researcher needs related to this research. Among the results obtained by the researcher is that the meaning of Ferdinand de Saussure’s semiotics includes linguistic and non-linguistic semiotics, the link between the signifier and the signified, the link between language (langue) and speech (parole), and grammatical analysis: that is, looking at ways of classifying elements. Focusing on the characteristics of some structures and their specific grammatical roles in sentences, practical analysis: that is, the relationship between linguistic elements in a linguistic system or in a morphological table, descriptive analysis (synchronous) and historical analysis (asynchronous).
