Abstract
Reading comprehension is the process of extracting and constructing meaning through interaction and involvement with written language. Hello English is an application designed to help students to learn languages easily and comfortably. This research aims to find out how the students perceive about the use of Hello English application toward their English Reading Ability and to find out the challenges that the students faced in using it. The research employed a qualitative research method. The participants of this research were 10 (ten) students, including female and male. Thematic Analysis was used as a technique for data analysis which consists of familiarization, coding, selecting the themes, naming the themes, and writing up the results of the analysis. Research findings show that applying Hello English stimulates students to be interested in learning and more positively responsive to teachers. This implementation has been very effective during the observation period, and students can continue to use the application without an internet connection. It is also a combination of textbook content and Hello English lessons.
