Abstract
As a child we must honoring, looking after and caring for parents, in Islam there are many verses and hadiths that mention the obligations of children to their parents, such as Surah Al-Isra' verse 23. In the village of Umah Besi Bener Meriah there are several parents who live separately with their children, some are even widows and live alone in old age. This research will analyze how children care for and honor their parents in Umah Besi Village. The aim of this research is to find out how Islamic Law reviews children's obligations to their parentsin Umah Besi Village, Bener Meriah andwhat elements that affect them to fulfill the oblogation to their parentsin Umah Besi Village, Bener Meriah.
