Tinjauan Fiqih Muamalah Terhadap Mekanisme Pengupahan Dalam Penyembelihan Hewan Qurban (Studi Pada Kecamatan Syiah Kuala Kota Banda Aceh)

This study aims to determine the mechanism of wage payments for the slaughter of sacrificial animals in Syiah Kuala District. This article uses a field study method with an empirical approach to gain a deep understanding and enable us to dig up detailed information about the wage payment mechanism in the process of slaughtering sacrificial animals in Syiah Kuala District, Banda Aceh City. The data was obtained through a process of observation and in-depth interviews in the field. The results of the study indicate that the party responsible for the management of the sacrifice, in this case the committee, receives wages. The slaughterer of the sacrificial animal or butcher also receives wages. The wages received also vary, some receive wages in cash due to the prohibition of giving wages with sacrificial meat in Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh muamalah). Some also pay wages with the sacrificial meat itself. However, this is contrary to the principles of Islamic jurisprudence in providing wages to parties involved in the process of sacrifice, while those responsible for distributing the sacrificial meat after the slaughter do not receive wages or work sincerely.
