Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using e-comics on improving e-comic media in learning qira'ah for class VIII students at MTsN Pematangsiantar. The method used is intact group comparison which is included in experimental research. This research involved 30 students as subjects who were divided into 15 students in the control group and 15 students in the experimental group and this research used 6 observers. The main instrument used was an observation sheet to observe students' attention to learning qira'ah using e-comic media. The research data was analyzed descriptively in quantitative terms, namely averages and percentages. The results of the research show that the use of e-comic media has an effect in improving students' learning of qira'ah as shown by the average score of the experimental group for all aspects being 87% compared to the control group which obtained an average score of 86%. Thus, e-comic media can be used as a medium that can improve students' learning
