This study aims to explore Teachers' Pedagogic Competence in Senior High School. There is one research question posed to guide this research, namely, What are the Characteristics of Teachers' Pedagogic Competence in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 4 Aceh Besar? The study was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 4 Aceh Besar in the 2022–2023 school year. The participants of this study were two permanent English teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 4 Aceh Besar. This research applied the descriptive-qualitative method. The researcher used an interviewing technique to collect data. This study was identified through semi-structured interviews. The research findings reveal that, Based on the research that has been done, it was found that the teachers who have been studied have pedagogic competency characteristics where each teacher has similarities and differences in perceptions in the teaching and learning process but still has a relationship. In understanding students, teachers adjust learning according to the conditions of their students. In managing and carrying out learning, teachers follow the rules for making lesson plans and also use their creativity in creating lesson plans that suit the needs of students. Teachers have used technology in the learning process to adapt to the conditions of the current learning model, such as the use of computers. In evaluating learning outcomes, the teacher assesses them with written and unwritten evaluations, such as characteristics and practice assessments. In developing student potential, in this case, the teacher helps increase student potential and also various extracurricular activities at school, where this school also provides various extracurriculars.
